The Wizard is a minor character in Regular Show. He is the original owner of The Power and a member of the Magical Elements sports team.[1][2]
Biography[]
Joining the Magical Elements[]
Over a thousand years ago, the Wizard befriended Death, Gary, and Reginald, and joined their bowling team named the Magical Elements.[1]
Losing The Power[]
The Wizard was the original owner of a magical keyboard, which would later be named as The Power. The keyboard held the power to give its user(s) anything that they desired.
One day, while running through the park, the Wizard left the keyboard on a bench while he relieved himself in a bush. While this was happening, Rigby discovered the keyboard and stole it, running away before the Wizard could notice.[3]
Defeat of the Magical Elements[]
After standing undefeated for thousands of years, the team lost a bowling tournament against the Park Strikers (consisting of Skips, Benson, Mordecai and Rigby).[1] Sometime later, the team befriended the God of Basketball and partook in a dodgeball tournament, which they also lost to the Park's team, Benson's Ballerz.[2]
Appearance[]
He has a long, faded blue robe with crescent-moons and stars. He has a pointy wizard hat with the same detail as his robe. He has a long, white beard with a connecting white mustache, and fluffy white eyebrows. He also wears flip flops.
Personality[]
The Wizard is the quietest member of the Magical Elements, with the only dialogue heard from him being either part of group chants, or a heavy sigh when he is relieving himself. He appears to have an overactive bladder, with a constant need to urinate.
Skills / Hobbies[]
- Magic: As with the rest of the Magical Elements, the Wizard possesses magic abilities. It is presumed that he enchanted The Power. His abilities are further shown by him transforming a bowling ball into a rabbit, and deflating another bowling ball belonging to Rigby.
- Bowling: As part of the Magical Elements bowling team, the Wizard is shown to be a skilled bowler, though as aforementioned, used magic to enhance his performance.
- Dodgeball: The Wizard was also present alongside the Magical Elements at a dodgeball tournament, though his performance was unseen, and he was among the first of his team to get hit.
Trivia[]
- The Wizard is the first character to appear outside of the main cast.
- Deleted scenes from Skips Strikes further establish the Wizard's bladder issues, showcasing him urinating into a bowling bag twice. He is later seen zipping his pants, saying "Boss, you want me to-" before being interrupted by Death, implying that he was going to urinate on the Park Strikers or in their trophy.[4]
