Timothy Darrell "Tim" Russ[1] (born June 22, 1956)[1] is an actor, director, musician and a voice actor for Regular Show.[1][2][3]

Early life

Timothy Darrell Russ was born on June 22, 1956 in Washington, D.C., to his parents Walt, an Air Force officer, and Josephine, a state government employee.[1][4] Due to his father's occupation, he and his family lived on several military bases in his childhood.[2] He graduated from Izmir High School in Turkey and another high school, Rome Academy, in New York.[1] He attended college at Saint Edwards University, majoring in Theater Arts, and another college, Illinois State University, majoring in Theater Studies.[1][2]


He made his acting debut on Masterpiece Theater.[2] He then made his film debut in Crossroads in 1986.[5] He would portray Vulcan Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager.[2] Recently he has focused more in directing, directing sci-fi films.[2] He is also a musician, having released several albums.[2]

Personal life

He has two siblings, a brother named Michael, and a sister named Angela.[1] He also has a daughter named Madison, who was born on March 9, 1999.[1] He resides in Los Angeles, California.[2] He also knows how to play the following instruments: the guitar and the bass.[5]
