Thrill Baby is the first short story in the mainline Regular Show Comics series. It was published as a short story in Issue #1, and was written & illustrated by Brian Butler.
Synopsis[]
Rigby is anxious about what he will look like on a photo taken on a rollercoaster.
Plot[]
Mordecai and Rigby are at a carnival, in line for a rollercoaster called the "Face Melter". Rigby tries to convince Mordecai that they should go on another ride instead. Skips then arrives, thanking the duo for holding his spot in the line. Mordecai asks Skips to reassure Rigby that he's not going to die on the ride. Skips explains the ride's history of "thrilling the faces off guests", but reassures him that he won't die, and might barf instead. Rigby screams that he's not scared about dying, but that he's afraid of being humiliated by the picture taken of him on the ride. To combat this, Mordecai decides to strap a rubber band around Rigby's eyes and mouth, placing two coins with dots marked on over his eyes, so that he's unable to make a terrible face. Rigby now feels confident, and the trio go on the ride. During the ride, Skips accidentally drops his drink on Rigby's head, causing Mordecai's contraption to fall apart, with the rubber band pulling the trio together. At the end of the ride, they go to collect their picture, which reveals itself to be a horrific image, even scarier than the ride itself.
