Trivia
- J.G. Quintel was inspired by Treehouse Of Horror, a very similar series in The Simpsons. The two segments have very similar characteristics, following a three-part anthology style and have the telling of scary stories used as a framing device (which was later removed altogether in The Simpsons).
- Outside of television airings, the stories are reversed. "In the House" airs, then "Creepy Doll" and "Death Metal Crash Pit," and no Halloween Special intro occurs. The full special is only aired in order around Halloween. During other times of the year, "In the House" airs as a separate episode from "Creepy Doll" and "Death Metal Crash Pit" and vice versa.
