Tara Lowenthal[1] (née Platt)[2] (born June 18, 1980)[2] is a director, writer, producer, entrepreneur, hypnotherapist and a voice actress for Regular Show.[3][4][5][6][2] On Regular Show, she provided the voice of a mother who was giving out candy to children in the episode "Terror Tales of the Park". Mordecai, dressed as a father with fake children to increase his amount of candy, gave some to him, before discovering his plan and remarking that it was unbelievable. Rigby, dressed as a burglar, popped from the bushes, scaring her so much she ran back in the house and shut her door.
Early life and career[]
She was born in Fairfax, Virginia.[2] She started acting at age 9.[7] She received her theater degree from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts and the London Academy of Theatre.[7] She has voice acted on such series as Digimon: Island of Lost Digimon and Ben 10 (where her husband voices the main character), video games such as Resident Evil and Final Fantasy and she also voices Bingo Heeler in the Australian animated series for children Bluey.[8][9] Her voice acting agency is Abrams Artists Agency.[10] With her husband, they wrote the award-winning book Voice-Over Voice Actor, published by their own publishing company, Bug Bot Press,[1] which is about detailing how to be a voice actor, what goes on and how it's like behind the mic.[11]

Personal life[]
Outside of acting she is also a certified hypnotherapist, a therapeutic imagery facilitator and neuro-linguistic programming practitioner and is a certified Shambhalla Feng Shui consultant.[6] She resides in Los Angeles, California[12] with her husband, fellow Regular Show voice actor Yuri Lowenthal.[1]
