"Stuck in an Elevator" is the twelfth episode in Season 8 (and two hundred and twenty-ninth overall) of Regular Show. It aired on October 7, 2016.
Synopsis[]
Mordecai and Rigby want to go to a reunion concert.
Plot[]
Mordecai and Rigby are both watching a TV commercial for Fist Pump's last concert, Lasers For Life, which is playing tonight at the very top of the Space Tree. Both Mordecai and Rigby got their tickets two weeks early, took and long space nap and now have two hours to get to the show. Instead of taking the Space Tubes, the two use a Lift Master which has no line and takes two hours to get to the top of the Space Tree. Everything is fine until Rigby accidently hits the Emergency Stop button with his fists whilst jamming to some Fist Pump, stopping the elevator from moving. They try to call for help by using the Emergency Call button but are unable to call as two Space Tree workers are having a party.
Mordecai and Rigby decide to use their own phones to call for help. Mordecai is unable to receive any reception whilst Rigby manages to get a bar. Before Rigby calls for help, he receives a notification for a Lighter 2.0 update.
