"Starter Pack" is the second episode in Regular Show's fourth season (and eighty-first episode overall). It first aired on October 8, 2012.
Synopsis[]
Thomas is initiated as a groundskeeper, but Muscle Man refuses to stop pranking him, a situation that agitates Mordecai and Rigby.
Plot[]
After a montage of Thomas being pranked by the park gang plays, Benson tells Thomas that he has made through his initiation and formally welcomes him as a park employee. However, Muscle Man continues to prank Thomas by calling him a 'Starter Pack' despite the face that everyone else has finished. Mordecai and Rigby are upset that Muscle Man is continuing to prank Thomas. After going to Skips, who tells the duo that Thomas should fight his own battle, Mordecai and Rigby tell Thomas to stand up for himself and prank Muscle Man back but Thomas rejects this as he has no hard feelings against Muscle Man.
After going to Benson, he decides to show Mordecai, Rigby and Muscle Man a video on pranking in the workplace. The video is unconvincing for Muscle Man who still continues to prank Thomas. Mordecai and Rigby decide to take matters into their own hands by pranking Muscle Man back and pinning the prank on Thomas. After doing so, Muscle Man gets angry and erupts into a violent rampage. Mordecai and Rigby decide to warn Thomas about that happened and then tell him to make a break for it whilst they deal with Muscle Man. Thomas only just manages to start his car before Muscle Man catches up with him, and he drives away with speed. Muscle Man is undeterred, and with amazing strength, rips a shed from the ground, ready to launch it at Thomas' car. Mordecai and Rigby try in vain to stop Muscle Man by telling him that they were responsible for the prank, but it's too late as the shed flies through the air and hits Thomas' car, flattening it. Mordecai and Rigby are stunned and anguished - Thomas is surely dead and it's all their fault. But Muscle Man has the last laugh, calling out Thomas - who was hiding in a bush - and revealing that 'Starter Pack' was responsible for this expert prank on Mordecai and Rigby.
Mordecai and Rigby are irate because Thomas has wrecked his car just to prank them. After Muscle Man, Mordecai and Rigby leave, Thomas is left alone and tells his Mom that he is fine, but asks to borrow her car for the next day.
