Shion Takeuchi (born September 5,[1] 1988)[2] was a storyboard artist for Regular Show. Her hometown is Northborough, Massachusetts.[1] She gained an interest in animation after a registration error got her into the School of Visual Arts pre-college program, making it "the best clerical mistake of her life."[3] She attended[4] and eventually graduated from CalArts, majoring in Character Animation.[3] With one of her films, she won the category of "Best Comedy Short" at the Animayo Film Festival.[3] She left the show after "Brain Eraser" (she storyboarded the episode with Kat Morris, but was uncredited)[5] to work at Pixar,[6] and later for Disney as a writer on Gravity Falls.[7]
She resides in Los Angeles, California.[7]
