Robin Atkin Downes (born September 6)[1] is an English actor and voice actor for Regular Show.[2] On Regular Show, he provides the voice of Gary, among others.

Early life

He was born in London, England.[3] He began acting at the age of six when he performed in a play at his boarding school.[4] He graduated college at Temple University in Pennsylvania with a master's degree.[4] After graduation he taught acting at the school for three years.[4] He continued teaching acting at Freedom Theatre and also taught at acting workshops in both the United States and Europe.[4]

Career

In voice acting he has several pseudonyms, being the following: Robin S. Atkin, Robin Atkin, Robert Atkin Downes, Robin A. Downes, Robin Atkin-Downes, Robin Atkins Downes, Robin Downes, Robin Adkins Downs, Robin Adkin Downs and Robin Downs.[5] His voice acting agency is AVO Talent.[5] Downes has also acted on live action series, examples being Charmed, Nash Bridges, Titans, Beverly Hills 90210, Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.[4] His most known role by far is providing the voice for the Medic in the video game Team Fortress 2.

Personal life

In his free time, Downes composes, plays and sings songs and also paints.[4] He has been married to actress Michael Ann Young since November 6, 2004.[6][7] They live with their daughter Natasha[8] and two dogs Sheba[9] and Tess[10] in Los Angeles, California.[4]
