Nolan Ramsay North[1] (born October 31, 1970)[2] is a voice actor for Regular Show.[2] His work on Regular Show can be seen below.

Early life

Nolan Ramsay North was born on October 31, 1970 in New Haven, Connecticut and raised in Rhode Island.[2][3] He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a baseball scholarship and received a degree in journalism.[3] He later moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he attended Emerson College, graduating with a degree in communications.[3] After college he became a reporter in New Jersey.[3] After nearly a year of this he moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor and stand-up comedian.[3]

He is known for voicing the Marvel anti-hero, Deadpool.[4] Describing the character, North states: "The idea of being professionally schizophrenic and completely nuts is very appealing to me. It was like a vocal playground to bounce back and forth between these characters, [i.e.] the different voices of the same character. It's like when you're alone or driving in your car and you're just sort of having that conversation with yourself."[4] He has been nominated for two Video Game Awards, both for playing Nathan Drake, in the years 2009 and 2011.[5]

Outside of voice acting he has also appeared on the soap opera Port Charles as Chris Ramsey, portraying the role from 1997 to 2003.[3]
