"My Mom" is the sixth episode in Season 2 (and eighteenth episode overall) of Regular Show. It first aired on January 31, 2011.
Mordecai and Rigby must be supervised by Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost on a trip to buy a lemon tree from the nursery, but are annoyed by Muscle Man's "my mom" jokes.
Mordecai and Rigby speed with the cart from a nursery to deliver a lemon tree to Benson. However, they are a couple of moments late and end up breaking the tree, resulting in Benson being furious. He tells them that he will send Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost to supervise them, while Mordecai and Rigby get another lemon tree. Benson explains they will be supervised indefinitely if they keep screwing up. Muscle Man would constantly tell "My Mom" jokes that anger Mordecai and Rigby.
As Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost bring Mordecai and Rigby to get a new lemon tree, they travel by cart to the nursery, but Muscle Man passes it stating he knows a "short-cut." They actually go to get some tacos for a lunch break from Muscle Man's friend at a Taco stand. After lunch, they and Hi Five Ghost fix the engines in the cart to make it go lightning-fast. As they make way to the nursery they are followed by a cop who says Muscle Man breaks the law in "all the right ways" and they reach the nursery to get the lemon tree.
Despite Mordecai's insistence on bringing the lemon tree back to the park, Muscle Man tells them to "chill-out" leading everyone to hang out, playing arcade games, and other various things. At first, Mordecai refuses to do so, only for him to eventually warm up to Muscle Man. Nonetheless, they're still annoyed by his frequent My Mom jokes. Mordecai wants to say something about it, only for Rigby to tell him not to try and change Muscle Man.
On their way back, Muscle Man admits to them that while he does mess around most of the time, he really appreciates hanging around with them, which makes Mordecai and Rigby feel appreciated.
However that moment is ruined when Muscle Man makes another "My Mom" joke. Mordecai, finally fed up, tells him, "You're saying it wrong." He explains that it doesn't make any sense, and that he's just making fun of his own mom. Hi Five Ghost, suddenly scared, tries to warn him not to go too far, only to get ignored. Mordecai then begins a barrage of "Your Mom" towards Muscle Man, to which Rigby joins in too.
As they continue to throw jokes at him, Muscle Man suddenly stops the cart in a fit of rage, accusing them of insulting his mom. His brother, Muscle Bro, from the intercom, overhears the situation and tells him he'll come right over.
The ground begins to shake as a huge freight truck rises from the Earth in flames, to which Muscle Bro comes out of. The two gang up on Mordecai and Rigby, saying that they hurt their mom's feelings. Muscle Bro then takes out a photo of an ugly woman, presumably their mother. He tells Mordecai and Rigby to kiss the photo, tell her she's beautiful, apologize, and then to eat it. Shaken by their wrath, they do so without hesitation.
All of sudden, Muscle Man and Muscle Bro begins to laugh, saying that it was all a joke. The photo of their mom was actually his butt cheeks decorated to look like her, much to their disgust.
Later at the park, Benson congratulates Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost for their accomplishment and warns Mordecai and Rigby to not screw up again or have them supervise their next job. Afterwards, Muscle Man, shirtless, tells another "My Mom" joke to them and rides off with Hi Five Ghost. Angry at them for what they've endured, Mordecai states that he really hates Muscle Man, to which Rigby replies "You know who else really hates Muscle Man?"
