Desdemona "Mona" is a minor character in Regular Show. She is Skips's deceased girlfriend.

She made her non-speaking debut in Skips's flashback in the episode "Diary", and made an official appearance in "Exit 9B" and in "Skips' Story". Back when her and Skips (known as Walks back then) were in high school, they used to skip together all the time, but, he had lost her due to her sacrificing herself to save him from Klorgbane. Since then, Skips has vowed to skip forever so he can always remember the good times he had.

She has light blonde, curly hair and wears lipstick. Her dress is a faded maroon color and she wears a hat with a bouquet on it. She has clothes popular in the late 1800s, or early 1900s.

Mona had a laid back, easygoing personality that encouraged Skips (formerly known as Walks) to become a better person, that doesn't fight people, and not to be a bully.

Known as Walks at the time, he was Mona's boyfriend. When they first met, they started to fall in love until Gareth started talking about the fight against Klorgbane the Destroyer, which caused Mona to leave. When Walks went to Mona to tell her that the fight was off, they began going on dates and skipping every day they were together. At the prom, Klorgbane confronted Walks, and Mona finally allowed them to fight, knowing that Klorgbane was a bully. Mona ultimately caused her own death to save Walks from a giant slab of concrete that fell from the ceiling, which provided him with a chance to stop Klorgbane.

  • Mona's playful suggestion of calling Walks Skips after skipping with him around the school three times resulted in Walks changing his name to Skips a few years after her death when he was given his immortality.
  • Following her death, Skips vowed to skip for the rest of his life in her memory, meaning he never walks ("Over the Top" being a notable exception).
