Mercury Heat are a popular band, featuring as minor characters in Regular Show.
The band consists of four members: Gene Hazard, Vince Vandercliffe, Rikki Nova, and Dolfph.
Biography[]
Early Years[]
Not much is known about the early days of Mercury Heat, though it is implied that Gene Hazard had a rough upbringing with his father, and that Vince Vandercliffe is vulnerable to self-pity. It is rumored that in their early stages, there was a fifth member of the band, who died while recording a song titled "Flames Forever".[1]
Career & Reputation[]
During the professional career of Mercury Heat, they became well known for wearing outrageous costumes at their concerts, such as lightbulb suits, as well as death-defying performances, which included a motorcycle jump over a firepit. They were additionally known to avoid interviews from the press at all costs. Though this changed when they unexpectedly agreed to do a live interview with Del Hanlon from Channel 6 News. The interview however began to bore them as he asked them uninteresting questions such as "Do you like performing together?" and "How is the loud music on your ears?" To accommodate the band, two superfans named Mordecai and Rigby were brought in to interview them instead, giving the band the best (and only) interview they'd ever done. Following their interview, the band invited Mordecai and Rigby onto their private jet, where they all bonded over a few sodas. [1]

Each member of Mercury Heat has a distinctive appearance, with their only major similarities being wingsuits, facepaint and dark hair.

Personality[]
Each member of Mercury Heat tends to display a no-nonsense attitude. They are dismissive of people who show no real interest in them, and generally seem tough to crack.
Individually, Gene Hazard has a more laid-back personality, finding ways to respond to questions or criticism calmly.
Vince Vandercliffe appears to be the most emotionally vulnerable of the band, crying during the interview with Mordecai and Rigby.
Rikki Nova appears to be the most caring of the band, comforting Vince during his breakdown.
Dolfph appears to be much quiter than his other bandmates, but is still able to enjoy himself.

- Singing - Gene Hazard is the lead singer of the band, and appears to be skilled in the profession.
- Guitar Playing - All members except Dolfph are seen to play the guitar with experience.
- Keyboard Playing - Rikki Nova occasionally plays the keyboard in their songs, with it highlighted as his go-to instrument.
- Drumming - Dolfph is the band's drummer, appearing to have much experience with the instrument.
- Wingsuit Gliding - The band's main method of entering their venues is by jumping out of their private jet and gliding down to the ground. They are incredibly experienced in this, showing no hesitation or chances of error.
