Captain Mary Stone is the Captain of Alpha Dome, the first dome sent into outer space. She and her crew went through a time anomaly when a crew member named Steve abandoned his post. The time anomaly caused Mary and the crew, except for Steve, to regress into pilgrims from the year 1690.
After the Alpha Dome was brought back through the time anomaly, She became a super advanced energy being from the year 3300 along with other members of Alpha Dome, except for Steve.

Prior, to going through the time anomaly, Mary appeared to have a stern personality.
After going through the time anomaly, Mary came to believe she was a pilgrim from the year 1690. She spoke in pilgrim grammar and believed any technology to be magic.
