Mantis King is father of Mantis Princess. Mantis Princess is daughter of Mantis King and ex-fiancée of Mordecai. The two made their only appearance in the Season Eight episode "Lost and Found".

Mantis Princess is a green mantis that wears a golden crown on her head. She wears a deep purple dress, with white fluffy trimming.

He is shown to be welcoming and friendly towards those who respect and follow his customs, but when people disrespect him, his customs, or his daughter, this causes him to be murderous, violent and aggressive.

In "Lost and Found", Mordecai wanted to give the desert to the princess and apparently in mantis culture, handing someone food means a proposal, so the princess said yes to being married. They decide it will happen and he doesn't want to be married, so he said he doesn't want to and made the princess cry.
