LeToya Nicole Luckett[1] (born March 11, 1981)[1] is an R&B singer and a voice actress for Regular Show.[2][3] Her genres include R&B and Soul.[4]

LeToya Nicole Luckett was born on March 11, 1981 in Houston, Texas.[2]
Career[]
Music[]
She began her career in 1993 as a member of the R&B group Destiny's Child; she remained with the group until 2000.[1] She and the band won two Grammy Awards in 2001 for their song Say My Name, winning the "Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group" and "Best R&B Song."[5]
She eventually began a solo-career, debuting her first solo-album LeToya in 2006, which was later certified platinum.[5] Her single Torn charted at #2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[5] She then released another single, She Don't, before releasing her second album, Lady Love.[5] She then released her third album, Lime Lite, in 2012.[3]
Acting[]
In addition to her music career, she has also acted. She made her professional acting debut in the stage play Rumors and acted in the film Preacher's Kid in 2010.[5][3]

Personal life[]
Luckett is also an accomplished entrepreneur, having opened her own upscale women's boutique Lady L Boutique in 2003.[5] Luckett is a Baptist.[1] She is close friends with former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams and actress Keisha Knight Pulliam.[6] She also has a brother, named Gavin, and once dated the rapper Slim Thug.[1]
