"Guitar of Rock" is the twenty-first episode in Season 5 (and one hundredth-thirty seventh episode overall) of Regular Show. It first aired on March 17, 2014.

Synopsis

An electric guitar signed by a rock star must be replaced, so Mordecai, Rigby and Benson must find a replacement or Benson will be fired.

Plot

The episode starts with Mordecai, Rigby, and Benson going to Mr. Maellard's house. They are supposed to bring in some packages but Mr. Maellard isn't home. They go in with Benson telling them "Don't touch anything!". Mordecai and Rigby sneak off and look at a large room with a giant flat screen TV with an aquarium behind it. They're impressed, but Benson screams to stop snooping. The three pass a doorway and Benson sees a signed Bruce Rock guitar. He remembers when he was younger and followed Bruce Rock, going to his concerts, and being his biggest fan. He decides to fake-play the guitar and snaps the neck on a statue. When Mordecai and Rigby find him, he freaks out, saying he's so dead. He begs the two to help him since they always get out of trouble of getting fired.

They decide to try to buy tickets for a Bruce Rock show but it's sold out. They tell Benson to calm down because the first plan never works. After that they then have a second plan, which is go to Muscle Man for help.

They go to Muscle Man and he gets a guy to get Benson another guitar that's signed.

Next, they go to Bruce Rock's concert and he is very old. Benson says it's a pleasure to meet him in person and Bruce says he'll sign a guitar right after the show. However, during the show Bruce falls down and his "old old" body just couldn't handle the fall. Benson freaks out again but Mordecai says that they have another backup plan for situations like that.

They go to Death and he tells them that they won't be able to get him because when they die they go to a "rock and roll underworld." where it's very exclusive to certain people unless you are a known rockstar. But they decide to give it a try and they put on rockstar clothes so that they can go in without any trouble. Death gives them names and they all drive down to the underworld.

Death puts them on the list so they can get past the bouncer and go inside. Death doesn't go in there with them. They go inside and meet Bruce and he asks for a pen to sign it with. But nobody brought a pen and only the bouncer has a pen. Benson tries to distract the bouncer as Mordecai and Rigby try to take the pen away. However, they are caught and the bouncer wants to make sure they are rockstars so he makes them play on stage in front of everyone, but they play badly due to their stage fright & they are almost sucked into the "Fake Rockstar Underworld" but Mordecai hits the bouncer and gets the pen and get Bruce to sign it. Death gets them on his motorcycle and they escape barley with the signed guitar.

When they return it Mr.Mallerd then thanks Benson and he says he keeps it to remind himself he's a rockstar sometimes. He slams it on the ground breaking it and saying, "It's good to be rich."
