Synopsis[]

Pops is accidentally sent to the computer world during a video for a two-on-two competition between Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost.

Plot[]

Mordecai is arguing with Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost about the computer sign-up schedule, but the latter pair still have five minutes that they want to spend watching viral videos. Mordecai and Rigby sit and wait while the other two watch Old Man Horseshoes, Wedgie Ninja, Road Hog, Glockenbear and others. Mordecai and Rigby make a bet with Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost to see who can create the most popular viral video; when they fail to come up with something good by themselves, they try making a video of Pops jumping on a trampoline.

By dropping a refrigerator on the trampoline they send Pops even higher than they had hoped - so high, in fact, that he ends up porting into another dimension. Mordecai and Rigby must follow Pops into the other world to save him. This new world turns out to be the internet. Here, subjects of viral videos are trapped inside screens and forced to relive their videos on loop for all eternity.

Mordecai and Rigby see Pops talk with the Warden of the Internet, an old woman who lives inside a screen of her own. She makes Pops stand in front of her laser video transporter and locks him in a screen.

Mordecai and Rigby ask the Warden who she is and what she did to Pops, she introduces herself, tells them that she did her job and that Pops made a mistake when trying to make a viral video, Mordecai asks her what that has to do and the Warden declares that the internet must be a serious place to writing research papers and maybe for keeping in touch with relatives once in a while, she thinks viral videos are silly and a disease, so they should be avoided. Mordecai and Rigby tell the old woman that it's not fair and that they were only making videos to entertain people, but the Warden declares that everyone she locked up should be punished and forced to relive their stupidity forever.

Rigby tells the Warden that she's insane and Mordecai declares that it's not even Pops' fault and that he was just doing them a favor, he asks Pops if it's true and Pops answers Mordecai and Rigby that he doesn't like websites, upon hearing their names, the Warden says that Mordecai and Rigby should be in Pops' video and she has to lock them up, but then Rigby turns her off and all the people in the videos stop, Rigby goes for Pops and Mordecai informs the people that they will help them out, Rigby helps Pops get off the screen but they accidentally turn on the Warden, seeing what is happening she goes after them, Mordecai, Rigby and Pops flee through the videos while they gather people and manage to lose the Warden.

Led by Mordecai and Rigby, almost all of the viral video characters manage to escape back into the real world. However, the Warden grabs Pops' ankle, and Mordecai and Rigby struggle to help him. Wedgie Ninja suddenly appears and gives the Warden a major wedgie, stalling her while Mordecai, Rigby, and Pops escape. Wedgie Ninja sacrifices himself, the Warden landing on top of him, resulting in both of their deaths. Mordecai, Rigby, and Pops then save Road Hog, Old Man Horse Shoes, etc. from the internet.

When everyone from the internet get back to The Park, where Muscle Man and Fives are waiting, they find Rigby has caught everything on tape. Mordecai and Rigby upload it to the internet, and it gets 2,000,000 views, winning the bet and getting the $20 from Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost.
