"Death Bear" is the thirty-sixth episode in Season Three (and seventy-sixth episode overall) of Regular Show. It first aired on August 13, 2012.

Synopsis[]

Mordecai, Rigby, Margaret and Eileen adventure into an abandoned zoo to take a picture outside of the cage of a killer bear.

Plot[]

Mordecai, Rigby, Margaret, and Eileen are picking a movie for their Movie Night Club. While picking, Rigby tells them the legend of the fabled Death Bear, a psychotic bear at the old zoo who murdered his trainers and supposedly haunts the zoo's ruins. Mordecai says it's nothing more than an urban legend, which makes them believe he's scared at Death bear. Rigby challenges Mordecai to take a picture of himself inside Death Bear's Cage in the Old Abandoned Park Zoo. While browsing in the Zoo, they go inside the Reptile House where Mordecai gets surprised by a squirrel, and gets taunted by Rigby for being scared. A little while later, Mordecai and Margaret find a train which Mordecai always went on as a child when he went to the zoo. Meanwhile, Rigby finds train tracks which on the end they discover abnormally large bear footprints then leads to a cage that has been pulled apart. They enter the deepest part of the cave, where they find an iron door with huge claw marks on it. This is where Rigby decides to snap the picture of everyone.

While Eileen and Rigby try to view the picture, the iron door tilts open before they can see. As Mordecai holds Margaret close and moves in for a kiss, she spots something coming from behind. It turns out that Death Bear is real after all, and seeks nothing less than to rip the group to shreds. The group runs back to the house with Death Bear in hot pursuit, and they barricade themselves in. Eileen is calling Animal Control when Death Bear breaks down the door and they go upstairs trying to escape him. Animal Control jumps on the scene trying to tranquilize Death Bear but failing miserably due to Death Bear's incredible strength. Mordecai grabs hold of one of the knocked out officer's tranquilizer guns. Trying to take the safety off, he accidentally shoots Rigby, whom then begins to talk slowly with a deep voice. Mordecai shoots several tranquilizers into Death Bear's face, and the tranquilizer medicine finally makes him fall asleep, and a helicopter carries him away. Outside, the group looks at the picture Rigby shot, but it is revealed to only show their feet.
