"Cruisin'" is the tenth episode of Season Three (and fiftieth episode overall) of Regular Show. It first aired on November 28, 2011.

Synopsis[]

Mordecai and Rigby try to get a girl's number by cruising to get out of paying for a fancy dinner with Margaret and Eileen.

Plot[]

The episode starts as Mordecai and Rigby are watching a movie that shows two dudes (that strongly resemble and sound like themselves) each getting a girl's phone number via "cruising." However, Margaret and Eileen think that the movie is bias and inaccurate, and the conversation evolves into a bet between the four of them. If Mordecai and Rigby get a girl's phone number by cruising, then Margaret and Eileen have to buy dinner for them. If not, then they have to buy dinner for Margaret and Eileen (and later, their "dates" Chad Ironchest and Tuck Packard).

Later that day, as Mordecai and Rigby cruise around in the golf cart, all the girls that are around ignore them. As a last effort, they ask Pops if they can borrow his car. Pops says yes, but warns them about a set of gears only to be used by professionals. When the Mordecai and Rigby show off their car to Margaret and Eileen, they tease them by acting like they are on dates with two tall, buff guys.

Desperate to find a phone number, the two of them cruise around the parking lot trying to find girls, to no avail. As Mordecai and Rigby are about to give up, two gothic girls, named Trash and Scabitha, jump into their car and call them their new boyfriends. However, the girls' old boyfriends, named Manslaughter and Bloodshed, are enraged and begin to stalk Mordecai and Rigby. To escape the two angry ex-boyfriends, Rigby activates Pops' car's flying mode, sending them into mid-air. Unfortunately, the ex-boyfriends' car flies as well and attacks them. Meanwhile, Eileen is commenting on how Rigby was jealous about the buff guy she was with.

In the air, the flying cars barely escape an oncoming airplane. One of the boyfriends accidentally destroys the car's engine, causing them to plummet towards the parking lot below. The two girls escape, not before punching the daylights out of Mordecai and Rigby. The duo then activate the car's glider wings, only to have the car crash into a tree. Margaret and Eileen rush to the aid of their friends, and Margaret gives Mordecai her phone number so they can reschedule the dinner after Mordecai and Rigby say that they have to go to the hospital. However, Rigby points out that they just won the bet, not being specified that they couldn't get the girls' number. The two girls accepted that they lost, and Margaret offers her hand to Mordecai.

The next day, as Mordecai and Rigby enjoy their free food, they see a movie in which a pair of guys get girls by using a jet to shoot a party missile at the two girls and create a party. The episode ends with Margaret telling the guys not to even think about getting more ideas to pick up girls.
