The very title of the episode gives it away being Quip's catch phrase. I really didn't care for the episode Quips very much, almost worse than some of the MM episodes. Theories?

Nailed it! The plot was all like "You won't figure me out before the show" and Trash Boat was all like "BAM! In yo face" and then Benson was all like "GET BACK TO WORK OR YOU'RE FIRED!"
I'm glad I was right about guessing that Quips would get married. It's still the first time marriage has been so important in a RS episode, so it'll be intriguing to watch!
We've been lucky with episodes on more minor characters, but we've also gotten lucky with a lot of Skips episodes this season! I have no complaints--Skips and his episodes have been really good this season--but it still surprises me! It'll be fun to see him plan a bachelor party!
It'll definitely be interesting to see Skips plan a bachelor party. Considering that the only love interest he has had so far in the show is Mona, I'm curious to see how well he handles preparing something so important for his cousin. Maybe he'll have all of the other park members help him out, or perhaps even Quips himself will have to lend a hand. I can actually picture Skips telling Mordecai and Rigby: "Out of all the things to be asked to help with, love is the one thing I still don't really understand."Â
I'm happy that Quips is getting married, though. This gives me hope that my lame jokes can still get me somewhere in life. XD I also have to agree with Tansyflower; the Skips episodes this season have been awesome! I look forward to watching this episode in a few weeks. :)
Lol, that cracked me up. guess those jokes must hit the right marks with someone out there. xD It'd be funny if the bride to be ends up having the same sense of humor as Quips, then he'd be all "What do you have to say about my lame jokes now? =P"
A lot of RS fans seem to forget the fact that Quips is supposed to be annoying. The episode wasn't THAT bad, everyone acts like it was a travesty. It wasn't even a bad episode to begin with, sure it wasn't the most interesting episode of RS that revolved around a relative of a character (see: Don). That doesn't mean it was awful like everyone makes it out to be.
I don't think anyone thinks that episode was terrible, as in it lacked a solid story, just the annoying factor was a bit much, kind of like how people feel about Do Me a Solid. However, without Reginald, that episode would have really been boring.
I don't think the episode Quips was terrible at all. I just think the comedic factor Quips was trying to provide was a little overdone. While some of the jokes he made were pretty funny, others were very dull and irritating. The episode as a whole was decent, I just didn't overly care for how many puns Quips kept making. This doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy Reginald's character, though, or Pops's Van Halen reference. In terms of creativity, it was a very good episode. However, it probably would have been even better if Quips would have dialed his comedic routine back a little. While Quips isn't my favorite episode, it isn't my least favorite, either.Â
Lol ikr. Maybe she has also a catchphrase and saw that spark and humor on Quips and vice versa
Fair enough, but even if some think Quips' jokes should've been toned down (in terms of annoyance), I think it was the writers' goal to try and make him as obnoxious as possible so that even Rigby or Pops couldn't tolerate him. Unfortunately for some, that part of him might be here to stay.
