I remember when I first joined this wiki how nice everybody was to each other and how much fun a somewhat mundane discussion post could be. Now I look around and see everybody arguing about something that is extremely frivolous because... well, I don't know. What happened to this wiki? To the Regular Show fandom? It disappoints me that certain people will go as far as name calling and swearing just because somebody else might think differently about a specific character. While I'm not trying to say that every single Regular Show fan is like this, it seems as though the romance aspect has become more important than what the show is actually supposed to be about. I mean... is it just me that feels this way? Sometimes I just wish that everybody could set aside their differences for a little bit and enjoy the show for what it is. So what if Mordecai doesn't end up with CJ? So what if Mordecai and Margaret become a couple again? Just sit back and appreciate what the show has to offer and stop getting perturbed over something that probably isn't even going to matter in the long run.
I'm sorry if I've offended anybody, but I have to admit that I'm sick and tired of the whole Margaret vs. CJ debate. If people could just respect one another's opinions, I'd honestly have no problem with a friendly discussion about Mordecai's love life. Instead, I see flame wars and name calling and cursing because everyone thinks they're right and won't be told otherwise. I find it funny when people think that the romance in the show is the problem, when in actuality, it is the fans themselves that are the problem. Think about how much stress the writers must be under in order to produce episodes that they assume (or at least hope) will satisfy the Regular Show community. Of course they're not going to please every single person, and they are most likely fully aware of that. Something that never seems to be taken into consideration, however, is that they are at least trying. We should all just be grateful for that aspect and appreciate it for what it is. Sure, not everybody's going to be content with the outcome, but that's just how it has to be. Hopefully more people will begin to realize this as the series comes to an end.
RANT OVER
Couldn't have said it better myself Charismakid, these are the exact reasons why I can't stand shipping wars in general, because they never go anywhere good and usually end with both sides bickering and arguing about who will become the canon couple instead of just enjoying the show for what it is.
Seriously, these reasons are why I stay out of shipping wars and just enjoy shows for what they are, because shipping wars solve NOTHING and only devolve into pissing contests with both sides. Case in point Avatar the Last Air Bender shippers shipping either Zuko/Katara or Aang/Katara or Shakugan no Shana shippers shipping Yuji/Shana or Yuji/Kazumi, and don't even get me started on Negima or Love Hina.
Regular sazabi me and M+M have started a mordaret club together we just talk and have friendly discussions about mordaret we have about five or six members now
Nope, not getting involved Sean. As I have said countless times before Mordecai is my least favorite character now, and I could really care less about his love life at the moment since I know he will keep repeating the same romantic mistakes over and over again.
Really, I'm more interested at the moment on how Rigby and Eileen's relationship will progress and how the other main characters will develop over the course of this season.
I agree, there are now too many flame wars between Margaret fans Vs CJ fans. First of all, it's ok to have your own opinion about CJ or Margaret. It is not ok to try to tell other people that their opinion is wrong, be rude or disrespectful, or to get upset over it. Remember that these characters are not real, so you do not need to get upset by someone explaining why they don't like them.
You aren't going to change someone's opinion by ranting and arguing. It just ends up going nowhere, and unsettles the mood of the forum.
The CJ Vs Margaret flame wars are splitting our community in two. I'm not talking about Margaret or CJ fan groups, I mean one side not being able to tolerate the other side because of their opinions, getting into pointless arguments, being rude, or ranting. The truth is, you don't need to judge someone because of their opinion on a cartoon network show.
The Regular Show wiki is supposed to be for RS fans to come together and talk about the show, not to argue about it. Apparently, the Moderators/Administrators are inactive, so we have to be able to work together without fighting.
Well let me put it this way: Sterling Archer has a better track record with women and had more character development in half a season than Mordecai did in a season and a quarter, and that's just putting it lightly (With no offense to Mordecai).

Amen to that, brother

I seem to recall we went through this whole nonsense two years ago when Margaret first left the show, and trolls and fanboys alike where causing such a nuisance that I accepted a forum ban. Look, until the show stops airing, nothing is completely canon, it can be overturned in a season, just as mordoret/mordo j or flame princess/princess bubblegum changed. Teleworm99 said it best, this is a cartoon, not reality, no need for serious butthurt. Have a take about why you think one plotline is better than another and let the fans judge who is right. Getting mad about it just makes you look like some foolish loser otaku with nothing better to do than obsess over a cartoon. Relax take it easy!
On a side note, if the writers of the show were as clever as they think they are sometimes, they would make an episode about forum butthurt filtering into reality. Something like where Mordo and Rigby have been posting to a forum and getting trolled by another user and that user turns out to be Muscle Man or Benson or Skips, and it creates an uncomfortable tension around the Park.
