Alecia Deann "Ali" Hillis[1] (born December 29, 1978)[1] is a voice actress and singer for Regular Show.[2]

Early life and career[]

Alecia Deann Hillis was born in Huntington Beach, California before moving to Normal, Illinois at six months old, then Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin at 3, before settling in Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 13.[3][4] Growing up, she wanted to be a garbage collector.[2] She then moved to New York City before returning to her birth place, California, in Los Angeles.[4] She graduated from East Carolina University, receiving a scholarship for vocal music but instead earning a theater degree.[2][3] She made her acting debut in 1999 on The WB drama series Felicity.[5] She made her video game debut in Xenosaga: Episode 2.[2] She is well known for voicing Liara T'Soni in the Mass Effect series and Lightning in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy.[6]

Personal life[]

She was once engaged to Dawson's Creek actor Kerr Smith.[7][8] She resides in Los Angeles, California[3] with her husband and three dogs, who is a part owner of Brother Jimmy's BBQ, which was where the couple first met.[3] She also has a brother and helps rescue animals.[9]
